Improvements to the segment method in the Spectrogram class
The current implementation of the segment method in the Spectrogram class is rather slow. We should look into whether it can be sped up.
It would also be desirable if the segment method would accept a step_size that differs from the window_length. This would allow segmentation into overlapping frames.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
