First release roadmap

First release is planned for March 15, 2019.

Preparation:

  1. Come up with a better name for the library!
  2. Delete irrelant/obsolete issues
  3. Re-organize the modules
  4. Go over unit tests, ensure good coverage, minor fixed/improvements to implementation
  5. Create development branch
  6. Update documentation, including examples
  7. Create a list of notebook tutorials (aim for 10?)
  8. Test deployment on Linux, Mac, Windows
  9. Make documentation accessible on server
  10. Clean up issue list
  11. Attach license
  12. Write gitlab landing page
  13. Write news story / blog post for website

Release:

  1. Download link on website
  2. Make available via PIP package manager
  3. Submit a software paper (see comment by @fsfrazao below)
