HYCOM null values (-30000)

For any grid point that is outside the ocean (on land or below the sea surface), HYCOM returns a null value (-30000). To avoid artifacts in the interpolations near the ocean boundaries, these null values should be replaced with more sensible values, e.g. by the nearest no-null value - to the extent that this can be done with little computational overhead.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
